A Culture of Hard Work and Dedication

Mariana Bracetti Academy Charter School provides a variety of athletic activities to keep your child involved through all seasons. All sports are PIAA certified. 

Our student-athletes all meet strict academic and attendance standards in order to participate.

Our coaches will push your child to hone their athletic abilities all while maintaining a culture of respect and perseverance.

A Fun and Dynamic Learning Experience

Mariana Bracetti Academy Charter School offers a wide variety of enriching extracurricular activities from the National Honor Society to Band. We acknowledge that a well rounded education consists of activities outside of the classroom that serve to balance out the demands of a rigorous academic schedule.

Mariana Bracetti Academy partners with community organizations to provide enrichment opportunities for students focused on academics, athletics, creative expression, and physical and mental health. Examples of active partnerships include The League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC), La Liga Del Barrio, PlayWorks, Beat the Streets, Walnut Street Theatre, Dancing Classrooms Philly, Kimmel Center’s #PhillyBeatz, Tune Up Philly, Georgia A. Gregory
Interdenominational School of Music (GEGISOM), EatRightPhilly, Foundations Afterschool Support, Shalom, Philadelphia Mental Health Center (PMHC), Jewish Family and Children’s Services of Greater Philadelphia, Anti-Defamation League, Summer Search, and Act First (staff
member CPR certification).
  • An example of Mariana Bracetti Academy’s innovative community partnerships at the elementary level is the school’s collaboration with PlayWorks. PlayWorks is an AmeriCorps program that promotes social and emotional learning rooted in the CASEL standards through structured recess, classroom game time, and the development of leadership skills through their Junior Coach Program. The reach of PlayWorks extends
  • beyond school-based support and promotes community and family engagement through service projects and celebrations. A full time, on-site PlayWorks coach is immersed in the culture of the school and has cultivated many positive relationships with students, staff members, and families.At the secondary level, Mariana Bracetti Academy has fostered a strong 15-year partnership with Summer Search. Each year, the program accepts multiple Mariana Bracetti Academy sophomore students to engage in a 7-year mentorship and support program which includes one-on-one and group mentoring, summer travel experiences, and post-secondary advising.

Counseling and Support Services

Our dedicated counseling staff provides many levels of support for children in grades K-12.
